i out performed him out played him. my tactics for defence and offence were supposedly the right ones to use but there is no real reason for anyone to use tactics in this game.
if i had one tactic or the other wrong against him i would say ok fair enough but this just smacks of the game having flaws in its system, other tactics do not give u an advantage if used to stop wot they are supposed to.
why should i waste time scouting others and looking through tactics when i can just log on set up the bog standard 5-1 6-0 jump and out score others. i am irritated and frustrated would be an understatement at the moment and seriously might walk from a game that had potential! hmmm heard that somewhere before, never fulfills its potential.

| Totally agree. Oddball has a great team, great players and is a smart coach. But.. I remember I would have lost anyway last time i met him, so I scoutet his matches quite intensively and found a whole different tactic that would fit perfectly (according to the faq) to his tactic. I ended up loosing with 20-25 goals... I would probably have lost with 5-10 if I use the 6-0 and 5-1 formation. There was no advantage in my new formation what so ever. |

| IMO tactics and formations are overrated at the moment, cause all the guys act crazy on the field due their low skills. We will see if the engine acts furthermore like this when the skills are higher, they players act smarter. maybe end of season 2. |

thats not the point and if it did for all formations and tactics would be fine, but it shows a clear way of setting your game out because you score more frequently with jumpshot than any other tactic. i know players will improve but my players are 3.5 stars in some areas which is more than my opponent and i got 100% in some tactics not just the standard 6-0 and jumpshot!
if my opponent sets up jumpshot and i set up 3-3 i expect his game to struggle no score 1 for 1 everytime i do and on top of that i used crossing to counter his 5-1 which again was negated and no advantage at all. either the bonus awarded to choosing the right formations is not enough and needs looking at or the FAQ need amending stating the optimal formation until your players reach a certain level will be 6-0 and jumping. |

I notice that all seems like if HD are not used in 4/2 defense (reading the match log). Are defense also not active ? Is it a joke ? |

| that's why I am act. more playing 6-0 then 5-1, as I also thing that the HD-/s aren't that work like they have to do (even if the Players aren't on the high level at yet) |

| No, you can't change your line up at the middle of the game. You have to plan your line up, and your changes before the match. One hour before the match. |
