Hi everybody! Guys, as you know, in all over the world handball coaches apply different tactics for attack and defense by changing some players,so. The point is some players are very good in attack , and others are in defense. If we could apply same tactic here,it would be awesome, and the manager would approach to the real handball very close. AS I understand,we have to have more than 7 players in the starting formation to rotate our players in order to playsome of them only in defense or offense.4

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you suggesting being able to use some players purely in defense and other players purely in offense?

Exactly. That's how the handball is running. I was surprised when didn't find such option here.

I don't think this is a good idea, to be honest. This game would be a lot easier if you could simply focus on training one set of skills.

It would be pretty easy to max blocking and marking if that's all you needed to train, along with physical skills. Since talent determines the final value, talent would become the most important attribute of the player, which would discourage people from using youth players.

Not to mention that this would be disastrous for national teams, especially the smaller ones. The strength gap between the big and the small (the teams that could meet the demand of the new specialized players and the teams that couldn't) would widen a lot. I'm the Icelandic NT coach, and we simply don't have that many players to choose from.

Seven positions is enough.
