I think most of us will agree that we need more action in the national teams. I'd personally prefer friendlies before this (and please add a match archive when that happens,) but that's already been suggested lots of times, so I won't bother with that now.
Since we have exactly 32 NT's, we could have a different World Cup for the teams that didn't qualify for the main World Cup (when more are added, the absolute bottom will naturally need to fight to get in.) It would have the same format, same number of teams, and same everything, except different trophies (perhaps a wooden version of the main WC trophies?).
Date could be right after the main World Cup, so there's not too much going on at the same time. |

Not really. The President's Cup in the real World Championship is just the placement matches for the bottom 8 teams. What I'm talking about is a full tournament exactly like the World Cup in this game, except with the teams that placed 3rd and 4th in the qualification matches. |
