Hey
I don't have a Youth Academy since I've been committed to building my arena so I was wondering what to gain by building one? Is there any difference in the numbers of players you can pull and do they have better skills to begin with? |

From Help/FAQ:
"How does the youth academy work?
Youth academy increases the number of youth players available to you each week. The players also have a chance to have higher starting skills than without this facility (skills range from 3 to 6 instead of 2 to 5), but the skill distribution is still random. With the youth academy upgrades you can also see a few random skills the player has." |

A youth academy is good if you don't want to spend alot of time in the transfermarket (which is by far the quickest way to get a better team fast).
The faq is wrong though, all skills will vary from 1-6 with the acedemy instead of 1-5. Needless to say the academy is a must have if you want to have good youth pulls. A high amount of starting skills and decent talent (3 and up) are by far the most important talent indicators in my opinion. High starting skills is even more important than high WE to be honest. |
