No, all teams have the same players rating and skils...

But maybe you could try at global forums

Well, you got your revenge, but fortunately I had a big enough goal difference that I could afford to lose by a small margin and still win the Oceania Top Division.

Result of final game: Boat Harbour Crocs 46, Shortland Streeters 41.

Both teams finish with 16 wins and 2 losses.

GOAL DIFFERENCE

Shortland Streeters: 201
Boat Harbour Crocs: 189

And so the Shortland Streeters are crowned the inaugural Oceania Top Division champions!

Had a heart-breaking loss to RedStar Light last weekend. Reckon it'll be pretty tough to win the Top Division now. It was a magnificent match though - a true clash of the titans (read my last two press releases!). Did pretty well in the first half, but they just held an edge all the way through the second.

So barring a miracle, I'll probably be relying on the Regional Cup to qualify for the next HBLC, but that won't be very easy either. Speaking of the Regional Cup, do check out the new thread about it if you haven't already done so, and please also have a read of the HBLC thread. Admittedly, only two teams have a vested interested in the HBLC, but I reckon it's good for the region as a whole if they do well in that.

Man, what an insane round this week! I nearly lost to a bot team! •!¦ F.C.Challenge ¦!. really pushed me, but in the end, I just snuck past them 41-38. I'm really at a loss to understand what happened in that match. Previously, I beat FCC 33-12, and have been absolutely creaming bots. I played my top team (or at least, what I consider to be my top team). I used the same tactics and formations that I always do. So how on earth did they nearly pull off an upset? It's really very worrying.

The big news of the round however is that RedStar Light ended their unbeaten league run. 1.F.C Köln beat them 44-36. So now we're back on even points. However, I take somewhat cold comfort from the result, because I have still have to play 1.F.C Köln, and they ran me pretty close last time. All the same, the battle for the Top Division got a little bit tighter tonight.

It was more or less back to business as usual in the last round, with RedStar Light seeing off Just Vale and my Shortland Streeters going back to beating bots very comfortably. But there was one very surprising result, which was that 1.FC.Köln got thrashed by the Boat Harbour Crocs, a bot team and dead last in the Top Division! So they upset RedStar Light one week, and get wasted by a bot the next. What's up with that?
