Hi all,

After being very deceipt by jumping shots tactics last week (wingers shooting from 9m as much as backs!!!), I was trying crossing today and had the same estate: the game engine is totally unrealistic. Today too, my backs was crossing with wingers as many times as between themselves. Yet, crossing is a purely move made between backs (very rare between back and winger - a bit more between center back and winger in order to open the slot at the opposite wing). More, my right back did not take any shoot today (while the winger, who was supposed to take very few shoots according to the chosen tactics made a 0/7...)! So well, tactics must be more realistic in order to have any interest.
Other things, when a goalie deflects a shoot, the ball always stays on the pitch. In reality, most of the time, it gets out of the pitch and the keeper get it back. In result, in my today game, my opponent shot 20 times more than me be cause he always get the ball after a deflection (from his keeper or mine). This fact is also unrealistic and should be more realistic. In fact, the always possibility for me to avoid a goal was to wait for an offensive foul.

To avoid any misunderstanding, this comments aren't taking place because I loose, I'd boring by the situation if I took benefit from it too. I really hope to see a better ME because the game looks very good but a management game could not have future with a game engine so far from reality.

sorry Yoda but i dont see it, and i dont have the problems your having so i think u need to look further than just blaming formations and balls not rolling out of play! i can tell its grating on u but now your looking for excuses.

i'm sure it states somewhere about it not being realistic but CBA to find it.

Sorry, I can't understand what you mean in your last sentence. And could you precise which problem you don't have because I pointed out several in this message.

lets start with the ball bouncing back into play. your backs are crap and too slow. my back 99% of the time pick the ball up on a rebound. look through my last game if u need proof that the offence doesnt get the ball all the time. i do agree it maybe should go out a little more!

First, your back recovered the ball 18 times on 29 saves, that's not really 99%.

Then, concerning the speed of my players when I played 3-3 defensive formation: 5,67/2,45/5,36/5,59/1,72/4,60. As you can see, half of them have the max note you can have when you receive a team, another has a 4 and only 2 are slow; I think the issue of the ball recovering has to be find elsewhere, at least it can't explain my opponent.

Anyway, I said that in my game offense recovered the ball each time and in my other posts on this subject I said that the majority of the deflections are recovered by offensive players against a 3-3 defensive formation. Your game is the first one where this is not true so I'm waiting for more examples.

Then, I disagree the ball "should go out a little more. Look at a real game, in most of the goalie saves, the ball goes out (as I said in another post, more than 90% of time in my last own real game).
