Today starts the fourth TeamHB World Cup. This season it will be held in Germany. The nations that qualified have been there for days preparing for this momentous event. However, some great TeamHB nations did not make it. Most notably Russia, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina (being 7th, 9th and 10th in the TeamHB World). The biggest surprise of the qualifying rounds was the qualification of Denmark and Netherlands in group H. Group H was also the most interesting one as it was the only group that saw all 4 teams win 3 times and lose 3 times.
The atmosphere here in Germany is crackling with anticipation of the first throw-off. Those that want to watch the games live you can do that at 15:00 (server time)

Additional news: We will make season turnover tomorrow (Friday). Club renaming will be open from Monday till Friday next week.

We have eight new great games lined up today. It's the second round of the group stages.

First we have Group A games. And it's Spain versus Germany, and Denmark versus Ukraine. Germany and Ukraine are the favourites here, having proven that in their first matches, with Spain coming a close second. Denmark did a lot by getting qualified to the World Cup, but unfortunately, I only see them as contenders for the last position in this strong group.

Group B also started with the favourites winning their first matches. Today, the Macedonians play against the Swedes, and the Poles will have a go at the French. Undoubtedly, todays favourites are the same as yesterday, Sweden and France.

In group C, we had a major upset/surprise yesterday. Americans won against the World Champions, Hungary. Today United States of America play against Italy, and Belgium against Hungary. In lieu of yesterdays match the favourite for the first game is anyone's guess. In the second one, the Hungarians are the firm favourites.

The last group, Group D, is probably the most "open" group of all. The favourites for the first position (in the group) are the Slovenians. Czechs have the upper hand in getting the second spot with their more than convincing victory over the Dutch. Today's games should give us the answer on how things are going to play out. We have; Netherlands versus Latvia (yesterdays losers), and Slovenia versus Czech Republic yesterdays winners).

As always, you can watch the games live at 15:00 server time
