I played my first match in this season. I won, and the best result in my team acheived by Spaleniak, who scored 16 goals (in 16 attempts). But his attacking rating in match in only 1(one!) star - the worst possible! I don't get it at all

Edit by Admin:
The game rating isn't "how many goals the player scored". It's a mix of skills the player has for his position - also stamina influences the final result

Did you play an untrained formation?

No, my formation has 100%. I don't get how the generator counts rating.

Is reflexes a skill that is only and exclusive used for Goalkeeper-Calculations? Or the other way around: are there any situations (any, not which) where non-GK-players-reflex-value is taken into calculation?

Thanks... and i hope i didnt missed this one already...

Edit by Admin:
There is one situation (currently) in which regular players use reflexes.

I want to raise the rating question again, because it wasn't answered. So how much does rating influence the game engine. I know you said it's like a secondary skill, but obviously this isn't enough to know. If so, tell us how many secondary skills GE considers and how many primary skills, and the difference between primary and secondary skills.
I want to give an example, so you can understand why I need to know exactly how rating works.
Many of my players can reach maximum 3,5-4.0 stars of rating. But if rating isn't this important, they can compensate with their skills.
But on the other hand, if rating is very important, i'd better change most of my players. So I want to know while we're still in the begining of the game, not after 5 seasons

Edit by Admin:
The exact number of skills (secondary and primary) that are included in different calculations varies from 2 to 5 (I think is the largest number - I'll check) + rating. The number of secondary skills also varies, but there is always at least 1 primary skill in the calculation.

Secondary skills weigh less than the primary ones. With other words secondary skills are not as important as the primary ones, but they are still included in the calculation and that makes them important (I'm making no sense here, ain't I )

To put it simple (and hopefully understandable to all), if 2 players are equal in skills, but one has better rating, that player will be the better one

3,5/4 of rating is OK, but you can't reach the top with that. Best managers keep only players with at least 4,5 rating.
I wouldn't say it's a secondary skill, but clearly a primary one.

part of faq - trening

Training points for defensive, technical and goalkeeping training regimes are distributed as follows;
60% of all the training points received by the player go to the first randomly selected defensive, technical or goalkeeping (depending on what you train) skill,
40% of all the training points received by the player go to the second defensive, technical or goalkeeping (depending on what you train) skill

If I train technical skills and I choose train all skills, first skill on the list will take 60% of sp, and second skill on the list 40%s it random? For example at X traing second skill on the list will take 60%, first skill on the list in training window will take 40%?

Could you explain it? I have never tested this zone of the game...

Mhm, it's random which one of the skills gets 60% or 40%, so it can be either first or second skill

I have player with special trait - team leader! I presume, that I should put him on CB position, if I want to get any benefit from his special trait, 'cause in real life, playmakers are usually the one, who "lead" the team!

But the problem is that this player is born for goalkeeper! So I wonder, will I have any benefit if this player stands in my goal or not?

Edited by Admin:
Team Leader has benefits only for the playmaker.
So no, if the player plays as the GK, there will be no benefit from his trait.

I have encountered a very interesting thing today in my match. (http://teamhb.org/index.php?page=match&match_id=233543)

I was playing with a BOT-team and I have had fewer actions than him (shooting opportunities - 29:42). How did that happen, that with my good defensive tactics he had so many shooting opportunities?

Edited by the Admin:
The attacks went as they should - meaning one attack by your team and the next attack by Barnaul, next by your team and so on. But there is a difference in the interruptions and continuing attacks (new "action" by the same team).

The reason for this is twofold.
Firstly your GK saved a lot of shots that were mostly caught by Barnaul players - this alone gave them quite a few additional "actions" and consequently shots.
And secondly, your players made a few offensive fouls which resulted in a lost "action" for you - so no shots in those.
