Dont think so Agram, but you should count yourself lucky still.
We dont have the fifth division, so we miss out the first two rounds compared to you just from not having it, then the third round (from your perspective) I have to abstain. So some people around your place will actually play their fourth game when I go into my first!
Seems like you guys in general will beat us to 3001 seats |

That's a good point Draugr. The Balkan region has a huge economic advantage right now because it has 2 more cup rounds than any other region (they are having theie first cup match on Tesday). It has 6 more cup rounds than the African region. That's a 450,000 difference in ticket income if they have a cup match each of those 6 weeks! Luckily, I think they have things worked out so that most of those teams are off at least a few of those weeks. I think the scheduling system balances everything out.

No, well, right now the impact is less than that. Id say every match yields some 23k in those arenas. But yes, it will be more when the arenas are fully built.
But there will be a significant impact with time. People only skip matches to make it possible to "pair up" everyone for an elimination structure. This will have to be done in the first round of all continents, but will not make people skip matches more than that. The number of skips will be roughly the same for africa and balkans.
With a relatively unfilled fifth division, there will be a huge amount of bot teams providing easy passes for them the first rounds though. |
