I've bought the shop and I've upgraded it immediately. It brings me a profit of about 16 000 euros per week.
In order to recover the 200 000 euros (100 + 25 + 25 + 25 + 25) I've invested it takes me about 14 weeks. Should I've saved the money for level 2 arena I would win few weeks.
Overall it seems there is not a big difference between shop way and arena way for a team that use to win its matches 
Shop basic level is not useful at all, once you invest in the shop you have to upgrade it as soon as possible to the max level

Interesting... But as we have quite all the same level now, it's hard to be sure to win all our matches...
