Isn't this a little unfair. Teams who got lucky to be in the top divisions have a extremely large headstart in comparison to teams who where 2 weeks later (like me) and get to play in the IVth divisions. Maybe it's an idea to create a common level for the first 2 or 3 seasons.

Well, I don't agree with you, because the attendance is a lot more that what you can welcome in your stadium. Actually the max stadiums are 3000 seats, and players who wants to have more need to spend approximativly 600 000 euros to have the right to add a few seats. And I don't talk about the prices to have 20 000 seats in our stadiums. So it will take many seasons before players will have stadiums who have more, or at least the same number of what their attendance allow...

Today i had at about 2500 spectators at my match (stadium is 3000) and I play IVth division. If I would have played in the top or IInd division I would have had full capacity. So other teams get more money just because they are lucky to be put in higher divisions and lower teams get less money and (eventually) have lesser financial opportunities and will need more time to develop to a top team in comparison with teams that play in top division now.

I really don't understand that you disagree with that

The early adopters are in higher divisions because they where faster when signing up for this game. There is an advantage when you play in higher division - no doubt. But complaining about and calling it unfair is a bit overdriven IMO. It is one of the basics in these kind of games that you earn more money in higher divisions - just like in real life.

The higher leveled teams will come earlier into management trouble, when the player wages and maintenance costs can't be covered easily by just playing a regular and a friendly per week. Trust me!

I'm in div II and I didn't get a sell out either, but you have to have some advantage for being in a higher division, or why have a division structure?

Ofcourse you must have a division structure, I totally agree with that. Otherwise there is no fun in the game. My point is totally different.

@ Peter:

ofcourse the top managers in next seasons will have more expenses than lower managers. That's not the point, they also will have more income if they manage their team the right way.

Now they get more income and get a headstart which gives them more financial possibilities which gives them the opportunity to create a better team early on than a manager in IIIrd or IVth division.

Right, but this advantage the TD teams have is overrated! IMO!

In GI the teams started in D4 are much better now than the most TD teams. I guess this will be similar here, since the economical basics are quite comparable.

Well I don't think so, but I've made my point. Don't wanna lead this to an endless discussion. Maybe somebody else has an opinion?
