I don't think it will still be the case when players will get better. ANyway, what's fun? Study your opponent and determine the best strategy or just win without know why? |
Oh ... K'mon in hattrick or other manager games do you see you oponets tactics? I think that's a bad ideea. Why are they called "MANAGERS"? |

They are called manager because you have to choose the right strategic decisions to win. How could you do that without basic datas?
You speak about HT which could be resume in "have the best midfield and win", that's what you call management? Have a look on PManager for instance, and you'll see how tactics are important when the match engine is well-balanced and matchs information enough to build your strategy. If you're not convince, have a look on a more recent one, profurgol, where datas are there... and tactical choice too.
Honnestly, I hope the devellopers of THB will make the game something else that "I put my players with no care and wait for the result".
By the way, as far as I remember, tactics are shown on Hattrick. You know at the begining of the game iff your opponent is playing on the right, on the center, counter-attack, pressing and else...
Not a so bad example you give, finally. |

I agree with you Yoda54.
We should know what tactics are used. And I confirm that in Hattrick, you see the opponent tactic |

I also agree. This should be about analising our opponent and addapting our own team and players to the different teams we face.
The way the game is is all about luck and guessing. |

Yes Yoda idea is right.... Knowing the opponent tactics off/def after the match is important to analyse the result of our own tactics and to adapt their for the next competitions.
It's probably not a big work to write that in match report and that will enlarge the fun to play... And please, if you add this information, insert the changes time.
And nobody is forced to use it..... |

By the way in HT which was mentioned here earlier is possible to see opponents tactics+estimated level of his tactics. Looking at match reports as it is now is quite uncertain way to determin opponents tactics in my opinion
Support to Yoda's idea from me |

Hi,
First of all, I think that straight information about opponent's tactics is bad idea. IMO, by thorough analysis of match report we should be able (if we have some knowledge) to quess which tactic was used. What's more, I read somewhere that good tactic adds only 10% to skill of team. It makes that small group of managers try to set proper tactic. This advantage should be much bigger. |

when i read match report i usually know which tactic my opponent used, so for me it's not a problem that it isn't written anywhere |
