Im a little doubtful honestly. For some of the most active countries it wouldnt be a problem. But for many countries, I think it'd be an issue finding caring managers to lead such a team.

Another thing is that speaks against it is the players all seem to have found the ball for the first time when they were 18. At 21, the effect of training will not really have kicked in yet, they'll be very raw compared to "real life" youths. Unless we have a scouting function in place, it'll be all but impossible tracking them down except for a highly organised community whoch excludes maybe all but five countries or so.

Yeah, it would be interesting. As the World Cup generate a lot of interest in this game, in the forums..., I think U21 world cup would do the same.

But perhaps it's a bit long and/or complicated to add this to the game for the Admins...

yeah, U23 would be better i think. In principle I like the idea of getting projects for the community to get together on.

If we decide to stick with the U23 instead of the U21 or U20 then it's still too early for that, since most of the NT squads consist of 22 and 23 year olds ...

I think that U-22, or U-21 would be best depending on the progress that players get in one season. Most players would in four season be able to train three sets of skills and then it is for the NT coach to decide players with which skills to select and that would make it more interesting, as well in four season you can achieve Riho's style and have players with highly developed one set. So IMO U-23 would be too much.

At that age, the players will not have had regular season games under their belt, so they'll have weak rating and no experience, at least those playing with more experienced managers who actually have teams in tough divisions to take care of.
So then we'd have the occasional managers who plays those 21 year olds and screw their own team to give those players an advantage over "normal" players in the race to get into that team. Well, are we going to compete in how many managers from each country are willing to screw their own team to have a chance in such a competition? I think this would be ridiculing the whole idea.

That the whole point is that the weaker teams would have more players in this NTs. Because the better would have the senior NT players.

I've checked top 10 NT teams and there are maybe only 10 players younger then 23 in them right now so I think it would be nice if we again start with this topic. Because if it ever going to be realised it's about time someone start developing it so it could maybe start next season. When almost every NT player will be 23 or older.
