Hello, one and all.
Like many of you here, I've come over from Grid-Iron (that's what GI means, for those of you who don't know). I'm the Shaky Islanders over there, but here I'm the Shortland Streeters. My Grid-Iron team takes its name from one of New Zealand's nicknames (Shaky Isles - because we get a lot of earthquakes). The Shortland Streeters, on the other hand, are named after a popular weeknightly soap here in NZ. And apparently, handball is very popular amongst the cast and crew of that show! So it seemed kind of fitting.
Anyway, it's very exciting to be here right from the very outset, so I look forward to learning the game and hopefully building a pretty useful team! |

Another GI vet here. I own the Paxtang Giant Hornets there.
I've been interested in this sport since last year's Summer Olympics, so I thought "What the heck? I'll give it a shot!", and here I am. I'm looking forward to learning the game. |

I'm sure everyone who plays G-I knows me. If not, get to the forums more often.
I know nothing about hand ball, but why not give it a shot. I may lose a lot early, but at least I'll be an expert at something. I'm in for the long haul though. I WILL get good at this game. |
