Creative player and team leader in the same team?

I have a team leader and a creative player in my roster who I am planning on making future starters, but the problem is that I've heard that both of these traits are only useful for playmakers.

Is there a way to play them both in the same team without wasting their traits?

one of solutions is have 2 players on CB
maybe one of them is ice-cold but a little bit worst, so he will play as substitute
if you must choose- creative LB or RB, team leader CB

I concur

To be clear, bring the ice-cold player off the bench as the trait works for the last 10 minutes of the game
