I noticed that my players skills stats have different colors, some numbers are black, some blue, green, light brown...

What do all these colors represent?

1-4(black) 5-9(blue) 10-14(brown) 15-20(green)

Goalkeepers need good reflexes, one on ones to prevent your opponents from scoring from counters, good stamina and some passing to give your wings good balls in counter attacks.

Center backs are usually the playmakers of your team, so obviously they need good playmaking and passing, they are in a good offensive position so jumping and shooting come in handy, so does technique. And if you don't want your center back to die of a heart attack in 15th minute, give them some stamina training.

Pivots play right on the 6m line, where they sometimes 'wrestle' for ball position, so off the ball, strenght and agility come to a good use. Since they score lots of goals, shooting is a top priority too, and as always stamina.

Left or right backs usually score the most goals from jump shots, so combine good shooting with jumping, a bit of technique and passing with stamina backing it up and you have a good left or right back!

A good right wing or left wing needs to have good speed, shooting, jumping and stamina, for he is the one that runs into counter attacks.

Outside defenders are watching your opponents wings, and therefore need good marking, quite good blocking and some stamina to back it up.

Line defenders are defenders which play on the 6m line, they need to have excellent blocking and marking, also jumping and stamina.

Forward defenders are all about marking, of course they need some blocking, but also agility and stamina, to keep with your opponents play maker.

Half defenders play a vital role in 5-1 or 4-2 positions, where they cover the 9m area, so they need high blocking and marking skills, also agility, jumping and stamina.

Keep in mind that this is just my own interpretation of player skills and in reality it may vary a bit, but I think it shouldn't that much.

Cheers, v
